My name is James Kinyanjui, I’m the CEO of LEFTEYE STUDIOS, and past Chairman of the Association of animation Artists 2018. I’m very proud of my stint at AAA, it was a real joy, especially because of the rest of the team I worked with. Kudos to my team mates, Naftal, Ngugi, Emily and others.

We achieved a lot though we took up the reigns of the association at a time it had been silent for a while. We were able to commence the process of making many strategic partnerships, among them with Kalasha, Kenya Film Commission among others. We also began an aggressive recruitment drive that is still ongoing. I want to say to anyone who is an animator in Kenya that If you are not a member of the association, you’re missing out on a lot. This is the body that collectively represents us in negotiations with the government and other bodies. Come on board and let’s drive our craft to the stars!
