Who we are
The Association of Animation Artistes Kenya (A3K), the official home of Kenyan Creative Artists who practice the Art of Animation, is registered under the Registrar of Societies and serves under the Kenya Film Commission which is a state corporation under the Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs.
A Membership Driven Association
A3K is a membership driven association that is governed by its own constitution founded under the Kenyan constitution as required by the registrar of Societies. Registration as a member includes an annual membership fee and filling in this form.
Members interact with one another during Annual General Meetings, general and special events that are scheduled in our calendar of events.
We are One Community
Just as the popular kiswahili saying goes ‘Umoja ni nguvu utengano ni udhaifu’ (Together we stand divided we fall),we are proud to be the sole Association in Kenya catering for animators and digital artists. United, we can steer our industry in a unified direction destined for growth. Through our unity we can articulate and represent our ideas in one voice.

Open Events
In line with its mandate, A3K usually organizes different open events all year round for its members. You can find them listed in the calendar of events. We also share beneficial information from creative to business events from other akin bodies to our members and the animation community in General
Paid Events
Occasionally, we also organize paid events for our members and other artists in the creative field. These events include Workshops, Masterclasses, and other value-adding events.

As per A3K Constitution :- An artist is defined as any person who contributes either directly or indirectly to an animation production.
