Hello my is Harto Muhato,
I am an experienced 2D animator, compositor and digital illustrator. I studied Animation at City Varsity in South Africa. Thereafter, I founded Shout Huge Production Ltd in 2011 a creative media house, later renamed to The Tsunami Studio in 2012 (an animation, illustration, comics and sound studio) where I currently work as the creative director. I’m also the Kenya Animation Association chairperson, a position held since 2018. I hold cumulative experience in the industry for approximately 10 years.
My short term goal is to excel in the field of Visual Arts through strong creative story based content in the world of animation and comics as well as and be recognized by the international animation community. My long term goal is to to build a robust creative industry in Kenya that will provide equal opportunities and jobs for other artists and animators in Africa.
My slogan ”Why be normal, Be different, Be you”.
